However, scientific and clinical education, including pharmacy, initially lagged behind in this transformation.

Thousands of young Pakistanis pass F.Sc. and B.Sc. exams each year, many with outstanding grades. Yet, due to limited opportunities, they often face disappointment and frustration when they’re unable to secure admission in their desired professional fields. This unfortunate situation leads not only to individual despair but also represents a massive national loss in potential talent.

To combat this, the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) program was launched to develop clinically oriented pharmaceutical professionals and prepare them for roles in both community and industrial pharmacy.

Eligibility Criteria for Pharm.D Admission

To apply for the Pharm.D program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Academic Qualification: F.Sc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent with at least 60% marks

• Age Limit: Not more than 35 years

• Foreign Candidates: Must submit a TOEFL score with at least 60% and a certificate of English proficiency

• Pakistani Nationals Abroad: Eligible with required qualifications

Admission Rules for Pharm.D Program

Admission into the Pharm.D degree is based on academic performance and a two-phase evaluation process:

Phase A – Entry Test & Interview

Candidates will be evaluated through a written entry test and a personal interview.

Phase B – Parent/Guardian Interview

After passing Phase A, an interview will be conducted with the candidate’s parents or guardians. Selected candidates will then be offered admission based on the following:

• F.Sc. / B.Sc. marks

• Entry test performance

• Interview results

Note: Incomplete applications will not be processed.

Application Procedure for Pharm.D

Prospective students must submit their completed application forms along with the required documents in duplicate to the college office. The list of mandatory documents includes:

• Secondary School Certificate

• Intermediate (Pre-Medical) Certificate

• CNIC (of student and father)

• Medical Fitness Certificate

• Parent/Guardian affidavit (permission for study, financial responsibility, and behavior surety)

• Photographs: 12 passport-size and six 1” x 1” photos
