The University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar is a public research university located in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is one of the premier institutions of higher learning in Pakistan with a strong emphasis on the development of science and engineering. The university offers undergraduate, post-graduate, and doctoral studies programs in engineering, natural and social sciences, law, philosophy, and various other academic disciplines. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates eligible to apply for the ETEA Entrance Test include:
- Intermediate Students: Those who have passed Intermediate (Pre-Engineering/Computer Science) or pre-medical with additional Mathematics from a recognized Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) in Pakistan, or an equivalent examination, with at least 60% un-adjusted marks.
- DAE/B-Tech Candidates: Those who have passed a three-year post-matric Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) or B-Tech exam with at least 60% un-adjusted marks.

Test Composition
The test comprises 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) without negative markings. The subject breakdown is as follows:
- Physics: 40 questions
- Mathematics: 35 questions
- English: 15 questions
